If you or another scholar you know would like to feature a published work related to biblical studies, there are two options. You can answer the author questions (to discuss your own publication) or you can answer the review questions for a book by a scholar that you have read and recommend. Articles in peer review journals can also be considered for a spotlight.
All featured works should be by scholars who are women (usually holding a PhD) and that make a meaningful contribution to biblical studies or fields directly related (e.g. archaeology, reception history, hermeneutics, the ancient cultural contexts of the biblical texts). Works that make scholarship accessible to the general public, as well as the academy, are welcome.
Submissions should be sent to women.biblical.scholars@gmail.com with basic biographical information (e.g. occupation/degree of the author who wrote the book; unless that information is already available in the Index of Scholars). WBS reserves the right to not post submissions that don’t adequately serve the mission of this site. WBS may also queue submissions in a way that ensures balance in type of content (to avoid over-saturating certain topics).
